LIC AAO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

LIC AAO 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for 2024 consists of three phases: Preliminary Examination (Phase I), Main Examination (Phase II), and Interview, followed by a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination. The final merit list of candidates for selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview.

LIC AAO 2024 Exam Pattern

The 2024 examination will be conducted in two phases: Preliminary and Main.

Prelims Exam 2024

The Preliminary Exam will include three sections: Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the Preliminary Examination will be 1 hour (60 minutes). Notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The test will consist of the following sections:

The Preliminary Examination (Phase I) marks will not be added to the selection process, and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase II) and the Interview.

LIC AAO 2024 Salary

The salary structure for the exam has been revised for the current year. The basic pay is Rs. 53,600 per month in the pay scale of Rs. 53,600-2645(14)-90,630-2865(4)-1,02,090, along with other admissible allowances as per rules. The total emoluments, including House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc., in A-Class cities, will be approximately Rs. 92,870 per month.

Specialists are entitled to additional benefits, including Defined Contributory Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance, Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4-wheeler) as per rules, meal coupons, reimbursement of the cost of a briefcase/leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines, and tea/coffee expenses, among others, as per rules.
